200 Second Avenue North Seattle, Washington 98109 206.443.2001 The Pacific Science Center is a non-profit educational institution that teaches science with scientific exhibits and hands on science experiments for school children. The Center hosts ever-changing exhibits and special programs, including a math van that tours the state and teaches math in many of the poorer school districts. A cornerstone of the Center's educational programs is to train teachers how to teach with the hands-on method. Chiechi & Associates assisted in asking the legislature to allocate $1.7 million in the 2002/2003 operating budget for a program called (LASER) Leadership and Assistance for Science Education Reform. |
